Mal-One’s third dub album features dub versions to some of his songs. Where the bass and drums are turned up and the lyrics dropped in and out, it gives us another way to listen to his existing music and works well in the album format. Hope you enjoy the reworks.
Punk Dub Poetry
take the song to a new place
turn up the bass and drums
drop the lyrics in and out
see how it runs
add some echo and reverb
to mash it up some more
the guitars cut in and out
what are you waiting for
put the dubs back to back
drop the needle from it’s rack
onto the heavy plastic
for a punky dub attack
